Direct answer

What is deal management software?

Deal management software tracks a vehicle sale from first negotiation through to completion. AutoHub360 links each deal to its vehicle and customer record, moves it through pipeline stages, and keeps finance, add-on and part-exchange details together in one place.

The pipeline itself deliberately shows no monetary figures—active-deal counts and ageing only. Profit and margin live in a separate, permission-restricted view, so a dealership can give staff pipeline visibility without exposing figures they shouldn't see.

What's included

Everything one deal needs, connected

A deal is more than a status. AutoHub360 keeps the negotiation, the paperwork and the numbers attached to the same record.

A pipeline built for negotiation

Deals move through Draft, Negotiating, Agreed and Completed, so the team can see where every active sale actually stands.

Ageing and follow-up alerts

A deal with no logged contact after an hour, or open for 5 days or more, is flagged automatically instead of quietly going stale.

Quick-log activity

Record a call outcome with a preset or free text, and set the next follow-up date without leaving the pipeline board.

Finance, add-ons and part-exchange

Keep payment type, term and commission, optional extras, and part-exchange details attached to the deal that needs them.

Profit Stacking

See vehicle margin, finance commission, add-on profit and part-exchange margin rolled into one total per deal.

Side-by-side comparison

Select two or three deals to compare price, discount, finance and add-on profit before deciding how to proceed.

Pipeline stages

A stage should describe what actually happened

Every deal moves through the same four working stages, plus a separate cancelled state for deals that don't proceed.

  1. 1

    Draft

A new deal, linked to its vehicle and customer

  2. 2

    Negotiating

Price and terms are being discussed

  3. 3

    Agreed

Customer and dealership have agreed terms

  4. 4

    Completed

Sale finished; the vehicle is marked sold

A deal can also be marked Cancelled, which removes it from the active pipeline board. Completing a deal marks its linked vehicle as sold automatically.

Deal record-keeping

Finance, add-ons and part-exchange, together

Attach a payment type, term and commission; optional extras such as warranty, GAP insurance or paint protection; and part-exchange details, including a registration lookup for make, year, colour and last recorded mileage.

  • Cash, card, PCP, HP, lease or external finance
  • Warranty, GAP, paint protection and other add-ons
  • Part-exchange registration lookup and agreed value
  • Everything stays attached to the deal record

Record-keeping, not decisioning. Finance and part-exchange fields are entered by your team. AutoHub360 is not a lender, credit broker or vehicle valuation service.

Profit Stacking

One profit total, restricted to the right roles

Profit Stacking rolls up vehicle margin, finance commission, add-on profit and part-exchange margin into a single figure and margin percentage per deal—and into a side-by-side view when comparing two or three deals.

Access to this view depends on the financial visibility permission set for the user's role. The pipeline board itself shows no monetary figures.

How it works

From first interest to sold vehicle

01

Create the deal

Link an available or reserved vehicle to a customer record. The vehicle is reserved automatically.

02

Negotiate and log activity

Move the deal to Negotiating and record call outcomes with quick-log presets or free text.

03

Attach the detail

Add finance, add-on and part-exchange information as it's agreed with the customer.

04

Mark it Agreed

Once terms are settled, move the deal forward so the team can see it's ready to finish.

05

Complete the sale

Move the deal to Completed and the linked vehicle is marked sold automatically.

Buyer's checklist

What should a car dealer compare?

The useful question isn't how many fields a deal form has. It's whether the pipeline reflects how your team actually sells, and whether financial detail stays visible only to the people who should see it.

Vehicle and customer context

Is every deal connected to its actual vehicle record and customer, not tracked as a separate spreadsheet row?

Ageing visibility

Does the system flag deals that haven't been contacted, or have been open a long time, without someone having to check manually?

Financial detail without financial exposure

Can finance, add-on and part-exchange detail be recorded on the deal while profit and margin stay restricted to the right roles?

Stock stays consistent

Does creating or completing a deal update the vehicle's status automatically, so inventory and pipeline don't drift apart?

Honest limitations

Does the provider say plainly that finance and part-exchange fields are dealership record-keeping, not a lender or valuation service?

Questions answered

Deal management FAQ

Straight answers about pipeline stages, alerts, financial record-keeping and vehicle status.

What is deal management software for car dealers?

Deal management software tracks a vehicle sale from first negotiation through to completion. AutoHub360 links each deal to its vehicle and customer record, moves it through pipeline stages, and keeps finance, add-on and part-exchange details together in one place.

What are the deal pipeline stages in AutoHub360?

Deals move through Draft, Negotiating, Agreed and Completed. A deal can also be marked Cancelled, which removes it from the active pipeline board.

Does AutoHub360 flag deals that haven't been contacted yet?

Yes. A deal sitting in Draft with no notes logged for at least an hour is flagged as not yet contacted, and deals open for 5 or more days are marked as ageing.

Can I record finance, add-ons and part-exchange on a deal?

Yes. Each deal has sections for finance details (payment type, term, APR, commission), add-ons (warranty, GAP insurance, paint protection and others) and part-exchange (including a registration lookup for make, year, colour and last recorded mileage). These are dealership record-keeping fields, not a lender decisioning or vehicle valuation service.

Who can see profit and margin figures on a deal?

The Profit Stacking view, which totals vehicle margin, finance commission, add-on profit and part-exchange margin, is limited to users with financial visibility permission. The day-to-day pipeline board does not display monetary figures.

What happens to the vehicle when a deal is created or completed?

Creating a deal reserves the linked vehicle in your inventory. Moving a deal to Completed marks the vehicle as sold, so stock status stays consistent with the sales pipeline without a separate manual update.
